What is the difference between a Registered Dietitian and a Holistic Nutritionist?

While both Registered Dietitians (RDs) and Holistic Nutrition Therapists (HNTs) focus on nutrition, their approaches differ. RDs follow general dietary guidelines focused on calories and symptom management, while HNTs prioritize nutrient density, food quality, and your unique needs. HNTs create personalized plans that address the root causes of health issues, viewing food as medicine and considering the whole person—physical, emotional, and environmental health. I develop tailored strategies based on your health history, goals, and lifestyle for long-term wellness.

How long do I need to work with you to see results?

Results vary depending on your goals and health status. Many clients notice improvements in a few weeks, but lasting change takes time. I offer packages with ongoing support to help you reach your health goals sustainably.

Do I need to buy special foods or supplements?

My focus is on whole, nutrient-dense foods. While professional-grade supplements may be suggested, I prioritize simple, affordable food swaps to optimize your health without unnecessary expenses.

Do you offer meal plans or recipes?

Yes! I provide customized meal plans and recipes tailored to your goals and preferences. Most meals are quick (under 30 minutes) with fewer than 8 ingredients but with plenty of variety. This  helps you implement sustainable changes without feeling exhausted or restricted.

How do I know which package is right for me?

We’ll discuss your needs during a free 30-minute consultation. From there, I’ll help you choose the right package, whether you need foundational support or ongoing guidance with more follow-ups.

Do you offer remote services? 

Yes, all services are available remotely, or in person if you're in the greater Denver area.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, I offer flexible payment plans to make my services more accessible. You can secure your package with a deposit and set up manageable installment payments based on a schedule that works for you. Let's discuss options during your free consultation.

Can I use my insurance benefits to pay for services?

Rise & Shine Nutrition does not accept insurance, but you can potentially use your health savings plan and request a superbill for reimbursement. Please note, we are not responsible if your insurance does not reimburse the cost.
